This seems like a pretty unique twist to the idol genre. I'm not huge on idols, especially male idols, but this one piqued my interest as I was looking through the seasonal listing.

Last season we had that male idol and it turned out decent sooo let’s see lol

Glad they exposed a fake friend, felt good lol

Honestly I was reading the little synopsis of this and the way it just causally said "There just one problem : She’s been dead for a year"

It just caught me off guard when I was reading it, like it came out of nowhere lol

The "She's been dead for a year" quote gave me Idoly Pride Vibes.

It's not a must watch or anything but if you like Idols then you should watch it.

Its OK because the male manager doesn´t disturb the (yuri) idols and only does his job.

Better watch/prefer Selection Project and not only because there is no male manager there.

Well, S2 of Love Live Superstar also airs this summer, so we got more idols to look forward to! XD

Niyoda's personality of being unmotivated and wanting to make easy money is pretty unique in the idol genre too. Hopefully this will be interesting.

I'm the same way, usually anything idol and especially male idol I stay far away from. Something about the cover pic made me give it a try, I'm glad I did, was laughing way too much xD

The thing is not everyone is a fan of typical pop idol trope anime.
No matter what gender ones, also for me imo male pop idol anime tends to be more boring than female ones in a story sense.
And I've watch my share of both gender versions.

CGI is just standard fare for idol anime. Most shows simply don’t have the budget to hand-animate all the dances.

Yeah, the only amazing CGI I've seen is Bocchan hoping to see him soon Edit: God-eater is good too

CGI is pretty common in idol anime, you can see it in almost all idol animes.

At least it's nowhere nearly as bad as the original "Love Live" CGIs...
